HOW TO HIDE FILES INSIDE JPEG IMAGE FILE

You know how you always wanted to put your files in disguise so nobody will be able to find it.
Well, today is your lucky day, cause am going to show you a cool way to hide your files, in an detectable way, and retrieve them easily, later on, when u need it.

Okay before we begin here are couple of things we need:

1. An Archiver software like WinRAR, WinZip, 7z…, any kind of archiver will do.
2. Files you need to hide
3. And image which you will be using as a disguise

Download activated version of WinRAR 4.00 32Bit And 64Bit Full-Activated.here

Let’s start cooking.

Step 1:

By pressing either ctrl or shift key, select the files you want to hide, right click, in my case select WinRAR and select add to archive.

WinRAR’s default setting for archive is .rar, so I’ll just click okay and that will add the selected files in to archive, as shown below.

Step 2:

The next step is to binary copy the two files, the archive and the picture that we are going to use the archive, using a simple DOS command.
Step 3:

Start command prompt, and change the directory to the one you are working inside, in my case am working
inside a folder called Inspiration, you might do it wherever you want.

Here is the command I used, “copy /b colors.jpg + Inspiration.rar new_color.jpg”, okay now let me explain what the command does; it simply copy the colors.jpg and Inspiration.rar and put them together as new_colors.jpg. As you can see on the above picture we successfully hide our Inspiration.jpg file inside another Image file called new_colors.jpg.

Lest try to check if those files are really hidden in the picture file. To do that go to the new image file you just created and right click select open with then select WinRAR, or any other archiver software you have installed on your machine.

Conclusion

On this article, we have successfully demonstrated how to hide files inside of another jpg file, and it was really easy to do. Hope you find it useful, thanks for viewing, should you need any help don’t hesitate to contact me.
Please don't forger to comment.

The Making of Simple Text Reflection Effect in Photoshop.

Creating a text reflection effect in Photoshop is fairly simple and i will show you just how.

Step 1.
Open Photoshop CS 3-6, and go to file and new..., the new dialog box appear and from that you can put the dimension of the graphic you want to create and you should know that this is really an important step.

Step 2.
Then create a new layer then fill it with light blue color, here is the hex value of the color "2387c9".
You can put the color value by click on the set foreground color icon and paste the value.

Next, select the new layer you just created and press Alt+Backspace or Alt+Delete. to fill the new layer with the foreground color which is the color you just selected above.

Step 3.
Write any text that you want to try the effect on, make it big and center it.
Select the text tool, place it on the place where you want to put your text and start typing.
the font i used is called "Trajan Pro", on of the best and the very old serif font, size is 53pt, type=regular.
and color="efffc0".

Step 4.
Go to the layers palette, select the text layer, which designated by "T" the layer's name will show "Ethiopia", and then press Ctrl+j.

Pressing Ctrl+J will duplicate any selected layer, in our case it will duplicate our text layer, and put the new copy at the top,
give it the earlier name plus copy.

Example.
here our original layer is called ethiopia, after pressing ctrl+j, the new layer will be "ethiopia copy".

Step 5.
While the newly duplicated layer is selected, go ahead and select move tool, from the tool box and bring the new text layer down, as shown below.

Step 6.
Now, lets flip the text at the bottom, upside down.
To do that, while the "ethiopia copy" layer is active  press "Ctrl+T", to access free transform, then right click
inside the box and select flip vertical option.

Step 7.
On this step will make the final effect, that is creating the illusion that the text is vertically reflected.

While gradient tool is selected, click on the newly added layer mask, go to the center of the inverted text and start dragging up until you reach half of the up right text, which is the text on top as shown below.

There you have it.a perfect text reflection using 7 simple steps.
You can download the PSD file from here.

Create A Bootable USB Flash on Windows 7

Okay lets get to it.
here are some of the things that you will need, to accomplish this task.
1. 4 GB+ Flash disk.
2. Computer with windows 7 installed on.
3. Windows 7 DVD.
3. Bios that supports boot form USB.

First thing you need to is, start the command prompt as an administrator.

And then type DiskPart, DiskPart is a text-mode command interpreter in Windows Vista, Windows® XP, and the Windows Server 2003® family. This tool enables you to manage objects (disks, partitions, or volumes) by using scripts or direct input at a command prompt, and hit enter.

Then we list all the drives, using the "list disk" command, on the PC, and select the disk, using the "select disk # "command, after that we clean by typing "clean" and hit enter.

After doing clean, the disk's file system and partitions will be lost, so now we need to format using a certain file system, like in our case i would go for fat32, but before that we need to create a primary partition, using the command "create partition primary" then format the disk by specifying the file system type, "format fs=fat32 quick" here i used "fs"as file system and "quick" to make the formatting process more quicker, you can also use other commands like "label", to label the drive...

That is all, we have successfully created a bootable fash drive without using any other software. The next step will be to open your windows 7 DVD, select all the files, copy and then paste on the USB drive that we just created, boot form USB and install a fresh copy of windows 7.

Conclusion

This is by far the easiest way to create a bootable flash drive using windows utility called DiskPart.
What other method do you use? share and enjoy.
I hope this has been informative, thanks.

Easy Alternatives For Adobe Reader

  Chrome

Google Chrome also has an integrated PDF viewer, which it’s had since 2010. Unlike Firefox’s PDF viewer, Chrome’s PDF viewer is actually a plug-in bundled with Chrome. Google handles updates for the plug-in, just as it handles updates for Chrome itself and Chrome’s bundled Flash plug-in.
You can use your browser’s built-in PDF viewer to view local PDF files, too. You can even make Firefox or Chrome your default PDF viewer by right-clicking a PDF file on your computer, selecting the Open With option, and selecting Firefox or Chrome. Your browser will open and display the PDF whenever you double-click a PDF file on your computer.

Firefox

Mozilla introduced an integrated PDF viewer, known as PDF.js, in Firefox 19.Firefox’s PDF viewer actually isn’t a browser plug-in at all. It’s written in JavaScript, the same scripting language used by web pages in your  browser. This means that Firefox’s PDF viewer is fully sandboxed the same way web pages are, which gives you additional security benefits. When you use a plug-in like Adobe Reader, your browser’s built-in security doesn’t necessarily apply – you’re relying on the plug-in’s developers instead.

Foxit Reader

Foxit may be one of the first names that comes to mind when people think about alternative PDF readers, as it was one of the first alternative PDF readers to gain steam – and it’s still a great option today. Unfortunately, it does try to install a toolbar and change your web browser’s home page during installation. Unlike some of the more lightweight option, Foxit has built-in support for annotations, highlights and other PDF-editing features – it’s a more full-featured alternative to Adobe Reader.

Sumatra PDF

Sumatra PDF stands out as the most lightweight PDF reader available. It’s very lightweight, has a simple interface, and is also available as a portable app that you can take with you anywhere. It doesn’t have any editing options or other advanced features – it’s just a window that loads extremely quickly and displays PDFs. It’s also packed with keyboard shortcuts, making it even more ideal for quickly reading PDFs. Sumatra also supports other types of files, including eBooks in ePub and Mobi format and comic books in CBZ and CBR formats.

PDF-XChange Viewer

PDF-XChange Viewer is a fast application, although it isn’t as lightweight as some of the other available PDF readers. It’s got good support for editing and annotations, although more complex edits will require a more full-featured, paid application like Adobe Acrobat.

Conclusion

it's always a good idea to find a better, light weight alternative, for those feature rich applications which consume memory and processor power, and if you know other alternative apps for Adobe reader share.
